- The U. S. Army Research, Development and Engineering Command, Aberdeen Installation Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to negotiate solely (as prescribed in FAR 6.302-1) with Noblis, Inc., 3150 Fairview Park Dr, Falls Church, VA 22042. The contractor shall assist with the improvement, verification and refinement of spatially explicit exposure models in risk assessment. The U.S. Army Center for Health Promotion and Preventive Medicine was selected for award under the Environmental Security Technology and Certification Program. Noblis, Inc. was proposed as a team member and this resulted in the favorable evaluation and award. The use of any other contractor for the effort listed in the proposal as conducted by Noblis, Inc. would result in the funding for this award being withdrawn The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 541620 and the size standard is $7.0 million. Interested persons may identify their interest, in writing, to the Government point of contact. Responses to this notice must be received no later that 3:00 PM, Eastern Daylight Time, June 22, 2009. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
