- Description
- The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/ Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC), Building 4545, Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5500 intends to issue a purchase order with Ternion Corporation, 2227 Drake Ave SW Bldg 14, Huntsville, AL 35805. The purpose is to purchase Qty of 1 Enterprise Edition Development Suite (EEDS), Node-Locked for Windows (purchased < 1 year of last EEDS) (P/N:EEI-ED-INN); Qty of 1 Computer Dongle Key, USB (P/N:DON-FLEX); Qty of 1 Prepaid Maintenance Fee (P/N: ADJ-D-PMF) to align with existing license 35832 renewal date and credit for 2 years of pre-paid maintenance of existing MSIC HELIOS runtime license 35830. MSIC needs the additional FLAMES-based modeling and simulation software license to expand its current capabilities. This software is only distributed by Ternion Corporation and no other brand of development software has been authorized for use and that will satisfy MSIC's needs. FAR provisions and clauses 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items; and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items are applicable. No solicitations shall be issued other than this notice. All responsible sources may submit a quotation to MSIC by FAX 256-313-7963 or email to Donna Tignor at tigor@msic.dia.mil. All quotations must be received by 1600 Central Daylight Savings Time 19 Jun 09 and must be proposed FOB Destination.
