- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER 38 U.S.C 8127(b) for Veteran Owned Small BusinessRECOVERY - The Department of Veteran Affairs, VA Maryland Health Care System (VAMHCS)anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price contract for Project No R512-09-338 for the removal of an existing and the purchase and installation of a new hydraulic dock leveler at the Perry Point Medical Center, Perry Point, MD 21902. The NAICS is 811310, size standard is $7.0 million. Simplified acquisition procedures (SAP) apply and the conduct of the procurement will be in accordance with Parts 12, 13, or 15 of the FAR or some combination thereof. The contractor shall provide all services in accordance with the statement of work within Solicitation VA245-09-RA-0209. Site visit details are contained in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued and made available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website: http//www.fedbizopps.gov on or about June 11th. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package, any amendments, and other pertinent information. Telephone, written, facsimile, or email requests for the solicitation or amendments will NOT be honored.
