- Description
- The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) intends to issue a Request for Quote for fiberboard records storage cartons to be manufactured and shipped unassembled to four NARA locations; Philadelphia, PA; Suitland, MD; Chicago, IL; and Riverside, CA. Quotations will be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13 procedures and the resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contract with fixed unit pricing. This notice is being posted in accordance with FAR 5.201. The one-piece corrugated fiberboard carton must have inside measurements of Length 14.75 inches x Width 12 inches x Depth 9.5 inches; must have a lock bottom that is capable of supporting the gross weight of 65 pounds without compromising its integrity; and must have three distinct information blocks on the front (unglued/unstapled) end panel. Additional specifications will be included in the solicitation and carton diagrams will be available upon request after the solicitation is posted. The contract will consist of a base period of twelve months and two twelve month option periods and all performamce periods will have a minimum quantity of 72,000 and a maximum of 748,000. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation in response to the forthcoming solicitation, which will be considered by NARA. A solicitation will be available on or about June 30, 2009.
