- NOTICE OF INTENT REF# 2009-70357 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/ Department of Health and Human services (CDC), Coordination Office for Global Health (COGH), Division of Global Public Health Capacity Development (DGPHCD), Program Development Branch (PDB) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract, in accordance with FAR 13, using simplified acquisition procedures, to WIMBA, INC., 10 E 40th ST 11th FL, New York, NY, 10016-0201. The purpose of this action is to secure the services of Wimba. Wimba Classroom enables learning by combining state-of-the art interactive technologies such as voice, video, application sharing, polling, and white boarding, and data sharing with traditional best practices of instruction. Wimba will provide a professional team with fully redundant hosting facilities, complete backup solutions, and manage the entire application, from hardware and networking, through security, backup, and application maintenance. Wimba has proprietary rights to the established servers, online communication platforms. No Request for Quotes (RFQ) will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent. This advertisement ends in 10 days accordance with FAR 5.203 (A) (1).Any interested companies are welcome to submit their ability to provide these samples via e-mail, gqq4@cdc.gov.
