- DESC: Universal Joint, NSN: 1015-01-550-0821, Part Number 12592886. The item to procure is a Universal Joint for the M119A1/A2, 105MM Howitzer. It is an altered steel component available from Cooper Power Tools, Inc. (CAGE: 03705), P/N: 16-890, and altered to drawing number 12592886, hardened to RH C30-35, Hubs only, and a heavy phosphate coating applied; This Solicitation will result in a Three (3) Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Type Contract. The guaranteed first year quantity will be 150 each. The Government is under no obligation to issue any other delivery orders against the contract, except for the minimum guaranteed quantity (150 each), which will be issued on delivery order 0001, concurrently with the award of the contract. Estimated quantities are 75 each (Ordering Period 2), and 80 each (Ordering Period 3). The estimated total value of this procurement is $411,000.00. The total maximum quantity that can be bought over the life of the contract is 750 each. FOB is Destination. For use on the M119A1/A2 Towed Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 30 June 2009. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. **************************************************************** A License Agreement between BAE Systems, RO Defence and the US requires the items procured to be manufactured in the US. US means the 50 states and the District of Columbia. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, within the US.
