- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W58RGZ09R0415. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials for maintenance and overhaul of the TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY INPUT NSN: 1615-01-034-0405; INPUT P/N: 206-040-003-23 OUTPUT NSN: 1615-01-034-0405; OUTPUT P/N: 206-040-003-23 QUANTITY: MIN 10/MAX 60 FMS QTY: 10 The proposed contractual action will be for a 5 year, firm fixed price Indefinite Delivery Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a minimum quantity of 10 and a maximum of 60. This is a Critical Safety Item. The Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 1-1615-157 dated 25 June 2002 for this overhaul is adequate. The overhaul shall be completed in accordance with the DMWR, all applicable Maintenance Engineering Orders (MEOs), and all applicable Critical Safety Characteristics. This requirement f or the Transmission, Assembly is restricted due to the requirement being a Critical Safety Item (CSI) to Israel Aircraft Industries, Cage Code SD664, Atarot Airport, P.O. Box 27160, Jerusalem, Israel and Bell Helicopter, Cage Code 97499, 600 East Hurst Blvd, Hurst, Texas 76053-8030. All responsible sources may submit an offer that may be considered by the agency. The required production schedule is 3 per month. Input will be 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Output shall be 90 days ARO. Firms that recognized and perform maintenance and overhaul on the required items described above are encouraged to identify themselves. No telephone requests or emails for solicitation will be accepted. REQUEST FOR SOLICITATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED BY MAIL OR FAX at 256-955-9237. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted depending upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above.
