Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment services and mental health treatment services, within a Seven-mile radius and within two walking blocks of a direct bus route from the halfway house, located at 1101 Canvas Back Street, Lake Charles, Louisiana 70615. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period estimated to begin on October 1, 2009 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on September 30, 2014. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year: Estimated number of inmates 15: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 15 inmates = 360 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 15 = 1,080 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 2 = 24 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 72 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 36 units; Psychotropic Medication = 10 prescriptions; Medication Monitoring 6 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 18 Monitorings. Option Year One: Estimated number of inmates 16: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 16 inmates = 384 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 16 = 1,152 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 2 = 24 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 72 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 36 units; Psychotropic Medication = 10 prescriptions; Medication Monitoring 6 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 18 Monitorings. Option Year Two: Estimated number of inmates 17: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 6 inmates = 6 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 17 inmates = 408 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 17 = 1,224 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 2 = 24 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 2 inmates = 2; Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 72 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 36 units; Psychotropic Medication = 10 prescriptions; Medication Monitoring 6 units per inmate for 3 inmates = 18 Monitorings. Option Year Four: Estimated number of inmates 19: Intake Assessments (one per inmate) for 7 inmates = 7 assessments; Individual Counseling Sessions ( 30 minutes = 1 unit), 24 units (per inmate) x 19 inmates = 456 units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 19 = 1,368 units; Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 12 units (per inmate) x 3 = 36 units; Psychiatric Evaluation & Report (one per inmate) for 3 inmates = 3 Evaluations; Mental Health Intake assessment and report (one assessment and report per inmate) for 3 inmates = 3 Mental Health Individual Counseling 24 units per inmate for 4 inmates = 96 units; Mental Health Group Counseling 12 units per inmate for 4 inmates = 48 units; Psychotropic Medication = 10 prescriptions; Medication Monitoring 6 units per inmate for 4 inmates = 24 Monitorings. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated March 2009. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
