- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid Atlantic Health Care Network (VISN 6) intends to negotiate a sole source commercial item procurement with JW Manny Inc for an Eckel audio booth. This proposed procurement is for a low-profile audio booth that meets ADA standards and is required because of the structural design of the floors. This booth also provides a cam-lock installation that allows for the ability to disassemble and move the booth if necessary. The manufacturer also provides an exclusive 15 year warranty for the booth through JW Manny Inc. The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes. However, interested parties may identify their interest and ability to meet the above minimum requirements no later than Noon, June 25, 2009, local time. Written documentation must be provided by that time proving these minimum requirements can be met. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
