Description

THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR PRICE (RFP). THE FORMAL SOLICITATION DOCUMENT (HSCG38-09-R-J00008) IS EXPECTED TO BE AVAILABLE June 24, 2009. This notice announces the intent to negotiate a firm fixed price requirements contract with a base and 4 one year option periods, on a sole source basis with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation as the only known source of supply. The government estimates it will procure 39 fuel tanks in total, for the duration of the contract award period if all options are exercised. The requirement consist of the purchase of 120 gallon fuel tank, P/N 70307-82000-057, NSN 1560-01-374-6481. Items are to be delivered to USCG, ARSC Receiving Section, Bldg 63, Elizabeth City, North Carolina, 27909-5001. Final acceptance shall be at destination. The Coast Guard does not own, nor can it provide drawings or specifications for the items. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 336413. Delivery is desired within 120 days after receipt of order. All responsive, responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. All responsible sources may request a copy of the solicitation, in writing. Request for Solicitation may be submitted by indicating solicitation number.
