- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for lodging; approximately 23 2/3 bedroom condo unitsJuly 6, 2009 November 30, 2009 for Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) Management tosupport launch processing and support activities at ASTROTECH and Kennedy Space Center. Realty company shall be flexible on availability dates due to uncertainty of launchschedule. Tentative launch date is November 6, 2009.NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Cocoa Beach Realty pursuant to FAR 13.106,for the acquisition of supplies or services determined to be reasonably available fromonly one source.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform theeffort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 2:30PM EST on datelisted above. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purposeof determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. Adetermination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and opencompetition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretionof the government.Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.An Ombudsman has been appointed.
