- Notice of Intent to Award a Contract The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management (ACSIM), intends to award a Sole Source follow-on Contract in accordance with (IAW) FAR 6.302-1 to Ferguson-Williams 2100 Fisher Street, Huntsville, AL 35803-6052 to provide Caretaker Service/Operation and Maintenance in support of Stratford Army Engine Plant (SAEP). This action will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. This notice of intent to award a contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. The Government does not intend to submit a solicitation for proposals. The Government shall not be liable or suffer any consequential damages for any technical information provided. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested firms may send a capabilities statement via email to the Contracting Center of Excellence, ATTN: Mr. Egbert Goodman, at egbert.goodman@us.army.mil Capability statements must be received by this office by Friday, 19 June 2009, 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
