Description
RECOVERY - THIS OPPORTUNITY IS UNRESTRICTED and will be available to all businesses sizes (large and small). The USFWS has a requirement to rehabilitate it's mainland barge landing facility. This project will improve access and safety allowing refuge cattle/equipment barge to dock in order to transport equipment, livestock and supplies to and from Tenasillahe Island. This will be"best value" procurement with award based on past performance with similar requirements and price. Past performance is significantly more important than price. Solicitation number 10181RR615 will be posted in approximately 15 days and may then be viewed thru a link to the National Business Center Interior Electronic Acquisition System-Electronic Commerce at "http://www.fedbizopps.gov" or "http://www.nbc.gov". The solicitation response date will be approximately 15 days from posting date. No further notice will be posted on Fedbizopps. For assistance in downloading information from the National Business Center contact the helpdesk at (703) 390-6633. Interested contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and complete Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) at "http://www.bpn.gov". This will be a firm fixed priced contract. The NAICS code is 237990; size standard $31 million. The project magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. Work to commence upon receipt of approved permitting, but no later than June 1, 2010 and be completed by no later than September 1, 2010. If funding is available at time of award, contractor will accomplish all permitting requirements. If not, the Refuge will be responsible for all permitting requirements. PROJECT INFORMATION: Contractor to furnish all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, permitting and final design specifications for installation of two sets of replacement dolphins, upgrading and sloping of the barge loading area and access road to provide more efficient loading of equipment and supplies at the mainland barge landing facility at Steamboat Slough on the Columbia River adjacent to the mainland unt of the refuge.
