- The U.S. Medical Command (MEDCOM), Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC), intends to award a Fixed Price non-personal services contract to a regionally accredited post-secondary educational institution to establish a consortium agreement for the purpose of providing the educational requirements for, and the awarding of, an Associate in Applied Sciences in Respiratory Therapy (AAS/RT) degree for graduates of the Interservice Training Review Organization (ITRO) Respiratory Therapy Specialists Program at the U.S. Army Medical Department Center and School (AMEDDC&S) at Fort Sam Houston, TX. The entire solicitation, including all exhibits, attachments, and amendments, will be made available ONLY via the FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) and ASFI (https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/) websites. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on the solicitation must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code). The solicitation W81K04-09-R-0023 will be issued without further notice on or about 30 Jun 2009. Interested parties may register on the website to receive notifications pertaining to this announcement. All information pertaining to this solicitation will be posted to the website. The anticipated contract period of performance will have a one year base period and four one-year option periods. This acquisition is being solicited using full and open procedures. The NAICS code is 611310. The small business size standard for this requirement is $7M. The solicitation will have all of the necessary information required for the preparation and submission of the proposals.
