- Prefabrication Truss Bridge 3 (3 pages) direction map 2 direction map 1 This is a combined synopsis solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation AG-84N8-S-09-0089 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27. The clauses and provisions referenced in this solicitation can be found in full text form at http://www.arnet.gov/far. This is a total small business set-aside and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The North American Industry Classification Code is 332312. A quotation is requested for one (1) line item. LINE ITEM 1: The project consists of fabricating and delivering a Steel Truss Trail Bridge including Abutments, to the location at the Fish Creek National Recreation Trailhead (NRT). The bridge would replace an old steel truss bridge which was washed out in 2005. To be delivered on the Ferron-Price Ranger District, West of Scofield Reservoir in Carbon County, UT, T12S, R6E, Section 13. Highway 6 to Highway 96 to town of Scofield. Then North on West Scofield Road to Forest Route 50123 Fish Creek Campground. Trailhead is located at end of 50123 Fish Creek Campground, approximately 1 mile. Project is to be completed on or before September 21, 2009. All deliveries shall be made on regular workdays (Monday through Friday) during regular business hours (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), excluding official Federal Government holidays. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The contract award will be offered to the best value offer made to the Government, considering price, technical specifications, and availability of product. Offerors will include with their offer a completed copy of the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items. The clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items, and 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition.
