- The Bureau of Indian Affairs is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation RMA00090018 is issued as a Request For Quote. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-30. This is a small business set-aside. The Bureu of Indian Affairs is soliciting Request for Quotes for GPS mapping and ground application for spraying of noxious weeds for approximately 500 hours. The location is within the boundaries of the Crow Creek Indian Reservation, South Dakota. Quotes must contain adequate information to demonstrate Contractors possession of the following requirements: 1. South Dakota commercially certified pesticides applicator; 2. Have South Dakota residence or Company headquartered in South Dakota; 3. Be a company with a minimum of 5 years experience as a prime contractor in the application of herbicides covering the control of noxious weeks. Maps and database will show spray activity separated by species of weeks, Map points will suffice for acreages less than 5 acres, while polygons should be used for larger than 5 acre treatment activities, and lines for continuous parallel infestations along roads, streams, fencelines, and lakes; 4. Provide a listing of all previous jobs of similar size and scope of work contained in this solicitation for the past 3 years. This list shall include a brief description of the contract, price, performance dates, name, address and telephone number of the Company or Agency that let the contract; 5. Provide proof of insurance prior to being awarded the contract. This will be a fixed price contract with an estimated price range of $25,000 - $50,000. If interested see the accompanied SF-18
