Description

Solicitation to find possible sources of Gray Aircraft Paint equal to the AKZO Nobel product ECM-F-6118/PC-404. Supply: The United States Air Force intends to purchase 600 kits of ECM F 6118/PC-404 Flat Gray Paint, color #36118 manufactured by International Paint LLC or equivalent. The paint to be purchased must meet T.O. 1B-1B-23 requirements, and must be compatible with primer to be used on same aircraft. Prefer paint and primer to be manufactured by the same company. THIS PURCHASE IS BEING COMPETED IN ORDER TO DETERMINE POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVE SOURCES TO THE QPL PRODUCTS CURRENTLY PURCHASED FOR THIS AIRCRAFT. The estimated award date is 16 JUN 2009. The NAICS code for this requirement is 325510 with a size standard of up to 500 employees. Central Contractor Registration (CCR) is required to receive any award. Contractors must be registered electronically at http://www.ccr.gov. ORCA registration is also required and contractors must be registered electronically at https://orca.bpn.gov. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate before final purchase. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to provide the requirement by reviewing the attached solicitation # FA8125-09-Q-0202, filling-in the necessary information, and submitting completed solicitations to the contracting office point of contact. All submissions received NO LATER THAN 12 Jun 2009; 1200 PM, Central Time, will be evaluated and considered for possible purchase. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation.
