Description

HUBZONE SET-ASIDE. Cane Brake Horse Camp RV-Sites Electrification. This project includes, but is not limited to, installing 33 each 50/30/20 amp rv-power centers including related branch wiring, main disconnect panels and metering equipment. The period of performance for this project is 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. The magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $150,000. The project is located on the Uwharrie Ranger District in Montgomery County, North Carolina. A pre-bid meeting will be held on July 7, 2009 at 1:00 pm sharp, at the project site. Directions to the pre-bid are from Troy, NC take NC 109 north for 7 miles. Turn left on NC 1154 (Millinux Rd) into the Badin Lake Rec area. Turn right onto NFSR 544 (McLeans Creek). The Canebrake Horse Camp is on the right. It is STRONGLY ENGOURAGED that all prospective bidders attend this meeting. All documents will be uploaded to this site on or about June 26, 2009. You should register to receive notification after which you will receive an eMail notifying you that the documents have been uploaded. BID DUE DATE: July 27, 2009 at 4:00 pm. Again, this project is set-aside for HUB-Zone contractors only. HUBZONE certification must have been received no later than the time proposals are due.
