- The Fleet and Industrial Support Contracting Office, NAS Jacksonville, FL intends to award a firm-fixed price contract to the above named company to supply the following kits: ER Major Overhaul Kit- Qty: 2; P/N: WLP001259-001BUpper & Lower Bearing Seal Overhaul Kit- Qty: 2; P/N: WLP001260-001CMajor overhaul kit, MX-9- Qty: 2; P/N: WLP001257-001B The above kits are required to replace original kits manufactured by WartSila Defense, Inc. currently installed in the Roosevelt Naval War Ship. WartSila Defense, Inc. is the only manufacturer approved by the Navy to supply these specific seal kits. These kits are specifically designed for combatant Naval ships' critical propulsion and steering systems to exact specifications. Substitutes are not authorized by NAVSEA technical authority. Kits are required no later than 17 September 2009 for scheduled dry-dock on 14 October 2009. The anticipated award date is 16 June 2009. The value of this award is estimated to be under $300,000. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations. This notice is not a request for Expressions of Interest (EOIs), proposals, or quotations. No solicitation document exists, and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. No contract award will be made on the basis of EOIs, proposals, or quotations received in response to this notice.
