- Description
- The Plumas National Forest intends to solicit for the services for the Moonlight/Antelope hand release project located on the Mt. Hough and Beckworth Ranger District. After the Moonlight and Antelope fires of 2007, conifer seedlings were planted in April 2008 and 2009. The two year old vegetation is effecting the growth and survival of these planted conifers. The project areas require all green vegetation be removed within a five foot radius circle of the planted seedlings. Treatments will be thoroughly described in the technical specifications. Acres are disbursed among seven geographical units with approximate total acreages of 1,025. This solicitation will be available for electronic download on or around June 18, 2009. Estimated work start date is July 20, 2009.
