- Description
- Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), managing contractor of the Savannah River Site (SRS) for the Department of Energy, solicits expressions of interest for companies desiring to be considered for Davis-Bacon design-build and build-only subcontracts for various light commercial and industrial type buildings, such as warehouses, industrial shops, and fire water pump houses; sitework with utilities and site lighting, replacement HVAC systems, and electrical switchgear upgrades. Any company interested must respond with a letter of interest (may be submitted by e-mail) no later than June 20, 2009. Firms will be issued a Statement of Work outlining general work requirements for Design and build phases and the Quality Assurance / Project Management Plan requirements. The SOW will also include Subcontractor qualifications and a list of potential projects and estimated schedules. Only those firms who have a demonstrated safety performance equal to the following standards shall be eligible for award: 3-year average Interstate Experience Modification Rate of 1.0 or less, and a 3-year average Total Recordable Case Rate of 5.4 or less. Any interested firm who is deemed qualified to perform these services must become signatory to the Site Support Alliance Agreement and be capable of providing minimum $1 million Payment and Performance Bonds.
