- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W912ES-09-B-0007. RECOVERY Lake Ashtabula. This requirement is being procured under the Small Business Administration Reauthorization Act (Public Law-135). Only firms recognized as Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZones) by the U.S. Small Business Administration are eligible to submit offers. Lake Ashtabula Asphalt Road project includes overlay and place HMBP Class 27 or 29 asphalt at various recreation area roads, parking areas, and camp pads at the Corps of Engineers Lake Ashtabula, near Valley City, ND. Area 1, Eggerts Recreation Area, will cover approximately 29,700 square feet and require approximately 3,300 square yards of asphalt material. Area 2, East Ashtabula Crossing Recreation Area, will cover approximately 30,300 square feet and require approximately 3,366 square yards of asphalt material. Area 3, Miscellaneous Patching, place up to 20 ton of material in various patches in various locations as determined by COE on-site field personnel. Potential bidders are encouraged to visit work sites. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 237310 with a small business size of $33,500,000. The magnitude of this requirement the estimated price is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation is scheduled to be posted on or about June 25, 2009. The offer due date will be July 27, 2009.
