- RECOVERY--THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO CONTRACTORS UNDER W9127S09B0023. RECOVERY-- This proposed pocurement is unrestricted. Date of issued for this solicitation and specifications will be on or about June 22, 2009 on www.fbo.gov. Bids will be due or about July 22, 2009. The magnitude of construction is between 1,000,000.00 and 5,000,000.00 dollars.The work involves furnishing all equipment, materials, testing, and labor necessary to perform work related to: constructing, transporting, and assembling of a maintenance bulkhead; placing the bulkhead in Greers Ferry Lake, floating it into position at Greers Ferry Dam; furnishing and installing latch receptacles at the sealing positions and storage position; repair of deteriorated surfaces at each gate bay to permit sealing of the bulkhead; and testing of the bulkhead and repair work by placing the bulkhead in sealing position at each gate bay and sealing in place; and placing the bulkhead in the storage position at Greers Ferry Dam; all as specified and as indicated on drawings. Work also involves furnishing all equipment, materials, testing, and labor necessary to perform work related to: hoist supports and hoists; electrical control and power components; wire rope guides; access ladder; and maintenance platforms; all at Greers Ferry Dam and all as specified and as indicated on drawings.
