Description
Notice of Intent to Award a Contract The Contracting Center of Excellence (CCE), on behalf of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management (ACSIM), intends to award a Sole Source follow-on Contract in accordance with (IAW) FAR 6.302-1 to Florida International University - 11200 SW 8th Street, Miami, Florida 33199 to conduct three Demonstration /Validation projects in or in cooperation with the Dominican Republic and selected Caribbean Partner Nations to develop an integrated suite of deployable Mobile Medical Clinics, powered by renewable energy technologies for use in natural disaster responses to meet the need for a rapidly deployable Mobile Medical Clinic, self-sustainable command center/emergency health clinic system.. This action will result in a Cost reimbursement type contract. This notice of intent to award a contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. The Government does not intend to submit a solicitation for proposals. The Government shall not be liable or suffer any consequential damages for any technical information provided. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested firms may send a capabilities statement via email to the Contracting Center of Excellence, ATTN: Mr. Egbert Goodman, at egbert.goodman@us.army.mil Capability statements must be received by this office by Friday, 19 June 2009, 12:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
