- RFQ - WOODEN TOOTHPICK TOOTHPICK: Shall have the following characteristics: Type II - Round or Square-Centered Round Unit of Issue – PG (package of forty-eight (48) boxes of 250 each) DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION. The toothpicks shall be round or square-centered round and shall be made from white birch conforming to the applicable requirements of the Food and Drug Administration, Code of Federal Regulations, Title 21, Subchapter B. The toothpicks shall be made with the grain of the wood running in the same direction as the long axis and shall be uniform in color. The toothpicks shall have no objectionable odor or taste. DIMENSIONS. The toothpicks shall have the following dimensions as stated in inches: LengthCenter ThicknessEnd Thickness 2-1/2 to 2-3/4 0.07 to 0.110.04 maximum FINISH. The toothpicks shall be of smooth, natural, straight, grain dowel or veneer. This procurement request is for a 10 month Standing Quote Agreement. Deliveries will be to the depots located in Burlington, NJ and French Camp, CA.
