- RFQ SPECIFICATION DRAWING This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for supplies in which the government intends to acquire in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions Procedures. The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) located in Seattle, WA intends to acquire the following items: A.) 3/16" VECTRAN ROPE JACKETED TO 5/16" PER ATTACHED SPECIFICATION, FOLLOWING LENGHTS ARE REQUIRED: 1.) 11 PIECES 2,000 METERS IN LENGTH; 2.) 7 PIECES 1,000 METERS IN LENGTH; 3.) 6 PIECES 500 METERS IN LENGTH AND B.) QTY OF 48 EACH ROPE SPLICES PER ATTACHED SPECIFICATION. See attached drawing. Photograph of finished product is available upon request. Items will be shipped using government bill of lading and must be delivered to Seattle, WA by Sept 28, 2009. See NUMBERED NOTE 1, 100% Small business set aside. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The government reserves the right to solicit offers based on receipt of affirmative responses to this notice. Only firms that can provide the exact items described herein will be considered. All interested parties must respond to this announcement within fifteen (15) calendar days of its publication.
