Description
This requirement provides 250 battery assemblies to be used in various applications. The solicitation contains attached drawings as well as Government Furnished Information which will be made available to offerors that express an interest in proposing and have a valid Cage Code. All battery assemblies shall be produced in accordance with the notes on the drawings. The battery assemblies shall be delivered according to the following schedule: - 50 assemblies delivered No Later Than (NLT) 30 days after receipt of order- 200 Assemblies delivered NLT 60 days after receipt of order The Government will award a single purchase order contract resulting from this RFP in accordance to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value in terms of technical capability and price. This requirement is urgent in nature. The Government will also give consideration to shortened delivery times. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items; the evaluation criteria stated in paragraph (a) of the provision are as follows: The significant evaluation factors, in the relative order of importance are: 1) Price; 2) Technical solution; 3) Proposed delivery times in advance of the stated delivery times in this announcement and attached solicitation. Evaluation factors are approximately equal. All questions/inquiries must be submitted to the contracting officer via electronic mail (e-mail) no later than 3:00 PM CST on 17 June 2009. Offerors who fail to complete and submit the requirements above may be considered non-responsive. NOTE: CCR Registration: a prospective awardee shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award.
