- This is a Sources Sought announcement for written information only for the purpose of identifying small businesses interest and sources capable of providing the services identified in this notice. The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Installations-West, has a requirement for contractor services to provide uniform alterations. The contractor shall provide all supplies (with the exception of nametapes and USMC tapes), equipment, tools, labor, and other items and services necessary to fit and alter Marine Corps uniforms for Recruits, Drill Instructors, and Recruiters at Marine Corps Recruit Depot/Western Recruiting Region, San Diego, CA. Selected clothing to be altered and fitted in accordance with Marine Corps Technical Manual 10120 15/1 and the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Initial issue and fitting will take place at the Government's facility aboard MCRD, San Diego, CA. All alterations (sewing) will be performed at the contractor's facility. A copy of the draft PWS is attached to this notice. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contracting Register (CCR) as prescribed by DFARS 252.204-7004. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 811490 with a size standard of $5.0 million dollars. Request that all interested offerors provide a capability statement consisting of all contract numbers for contracts awarded by military or other federal agencies. The capability statements shall consist of no more than 10 pages. Work performed within the past three years is considered relevant experience for the sources sought announcement.
