- Provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision for Electrical Distribution Upgrades at USCG TRACEN Cape May, NJ. Major work items include but are not limited to: Demolish existing Substation #13 and Switch #6, Provide new conduit and duct banks, provide new concrete pads, provide new medium voltage transformer, provide new medium voltage switchgear, provide new panelboard and enclosure, provide new medium voltage cables, provide new 600V secondary cables, provide new medium voltage cable terminations, provide new cable racks in each manhole and test transformer, switchgear and cables. This procurement is estimated between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The applicable NAICS is 238210/$14.0M. Completion time is 224 DANTP. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by the agency. NO TELEPHONE OR WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS OR POSTING STATUS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Tentative date for posting the solicitation is 07/06/2009 with an estimated date for bid opening of 08//05/2009. The exact time set for the opening of bids will be established upon issuance of the Invitation for Bid. Interested parties are encouraged to register at the FBO website to be notified when information on this project is uploaded. When available, all relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings will be available for download exclusively from the Internet by accessing the government-wide Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website at https://fbo.gov. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted solely on this website. NOTE: The Coast Guard distributes the Technical Data Package (TDP) portion of the solicitation through the Federal Business Opportunities website.
