- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 10 Dayton Contract office intends make a sole source award to Cepheid, a Small Business, for the purchase of one hundred & twenty (120) Genexpert MRSA test kits. The Statutory authority for this sole source purchase is Title 10 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented in the FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The applicable NAICS Code is 541380 with a size standard of $12.0 million dollars. A Justification and Approval to procure using other than full and open competition is attached. Any interested parties, other than Cepheid. A pre-solicitation notice will be publicized shortly, to advertise a competitive acquisition for these services. Interested parties may contact the e-mail address below no later than June 18, 2009 at 10:00 am EST. All interested parties, must be registered in Central Contracting Registration (CCR) database.
