Description

Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Procurement. The Department Of Defense (DOD), United States Air Force (USAF), 55th Contracting Squadron (55th CONS) in support of 55th SFS, intends to award a Sole Source contract to Diebold Inc., 818 Mulberry Rd, Canton, OH 44707-3256, purchase request number F3H3F19103A001, for the contractor to provide: A Mass Parking Area (MPA) Security System Upgrade at Offutt AFB, NE. The current Intrusion Detection System/Automated Entry Control System (IDS/AECS) enunciator system is the AF certified, Diebold LINX Predator Elite System that will remain as the front end system with minor modifications. The LINX Predator Elite is a proprietary security system to Diebold Inc. The 55th Contracting Squadron intends to award a contract by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2)(ii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals.
