- Grade JAA Aviation Turbine Fuel, NSN 9130-00-359-2026, Quantity 76,776,000 USG This procurement is for the upcoming Jet A/JP8 conversion initiative for the United States Air Force. This is currently a test program and the Jet A procured will be used for test purposes. The ordering period is date of award through March 31, 2010 and the delivery period is date of award through March 31, 2010, plus a 30-day carry over period. The estimated quantity for award is 76,776,000 USG to be delivered to the following locations: Port Mahon, DE Dover AFB, DE St. Paul IAP, MN Little Rock DFSP, AR Copies of this Inland/East Coast/Gulf/Offshore RFP will be available via the world wide web (WWW) at the Defense Energy Support Center home page (www.desc.dla.mil) and/or the Federal Business Opportunities home page (www.fbo.gov) A WWW posting notice will be sent to the firms on the solicitation mailing list on the date the Inland/East Coast/Gulf/Offshore RFP is issued and posted on the DESC webpage and the FedBizOpps webpage. Requests for paper copies of this RFP or the WWW posting notice must be submitted by fax at (703) 767-9269 to ATTN: DESC-BCA (Melissa Vandyne), RFP SP0600-09-R-0061-0001. All responsible sources must submit a proposal, which shall be considered. Offerors are required to complete, sign, and return the document titled Offer Submission Package to the Bid Custodian at DESC. See note(s) 2, 9, and 12.
