- Draft PWS The Naval Air Warfare Center – Aircraft Directorate (NAWC-AD) AIR-5.1 is tasked to provide on-going testing support to PMA-274 in support of legacy and future Presidential Helicopter programs. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River plans to issue one Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF)/Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. The attached draft Performance Work Statement details requirements to provide flight test and related support to these programs. The Government has the intention of procuring this service on a competitive basis. The results of this Sources Sought will be utilized to determine if any Small Business Set-Aside opportunities exist. All Small Business Set-Aside categories will be considered. This documentation shall address, as a minimum, the following: Company profile to include current number of employees, annual revenue history, office location(s), DUNS number, and a statement regarding current small business status (indicate whether Section 8(a), HUB Zone or small disabled veteran owned). Award of a performance based contract for these services is anticipated by no later than 31 July 2010. The period of performance will commence 1 August 2010 through 31 July 2011 and will consist of a one year base period and four one year option periods. The appropriate North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330. The total level of effort for these services is estimated to be 74,260 work hours per year. The tasks to be performed do not require a Yankee White Clearance but the ability to obtain one is. Secret Clearance is required. All potential sources must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration, www.CCR.gov. The principal place of performance is NAWCAD, Patuxent River, Maryland. Specific details will be provided in a solicitation which will be posted at http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations on or about 1 February 2010.
