Description
Description: This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 12. This announcement constitutes a Request for Quotation; proposals are being requested. Solicitation number F3H3G39042H001 is issued as a request for quotation. Funds are currently available. Quotations must be good for one month after the closing post date. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-04. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 321911. The business size standard is 500 employees. Offutt AFB intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the following items: Line Items: these doors will go between two different units so if there is a large family they can open the doors between the units and not have to go outside to access the other space. They have to have a seal around them so if there is a fire it will not spread to the other room. The two doors will hang on the same frame and only one side of the door will have door knobs. The specs on the doors are as follows: -Frames: to be 16 gauge steel drywall type knocked down DU 12 ¼"/11 ¼" communicating frame Right Hand/Left hand size 3'x7' (3070) Mfg Ceco or equal -Doors: to be 1 ¾" thick oak 5 ply architectural grade 3'x7' (3070) premium plain sliced red oak - Hinges: to be standard weight 134 non ball bearing 4 ½" x 4 ½" US26D steel hinge Mfg Hager or equal P/N EC1100 - Locks: to be communicating latch grade 2 round knob Mfg Corbin or equal P/N CK 4480 US26D GWC - Seals: Mfg Pemko or equal P/N S88 19' In summary there will be 27 Frames, 54 Doors (2 per frame), 54 box hinges, 54 locks, 54 sets of seals. Contractor must be registered in Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award. If not already registered in CCR, go to WWW.CCR.GOV to register prior to submitting quote. GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO ISSUE ONE (1) CONTRACT BUT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CONSIDER PARTIAL BIDS. The clause at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition along with 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (price will be the only evaluation factor): FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds: FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, and the clause at FAR 52-212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
