- Description
- The work of this contract consists of some replacement and some re-coating of the spray foam roof at Natural Bridges National Monument Visitor Center, and re-coating the spray foam exterior of the 50,000 gallon water tank. The Visitor Center (VC) roof has three segments, the domed roof portion, the flat roof portion, and the ADA restroom flat roof. The domed portion is approximately 3707 sf, and will require cleaning and surface recoating. The flat roof portion is approximately 1365 sf. The flat roof section will require a complete tear off of the existing spray foam down to the built up roof. Replacement will be a new spray foam roof and surface coating on the existing built up roof. The ADA restroom is approximately 93 sf, and will require cleaning and surface recoating. The 50,000 gallon water tank, which is within a 0.1 mile of the VC, will require the removal of approximately 100 sf of damaged spray foam and approximately 250 sf of new spray foam. The entire exterior surface will be cleaned and re-coated. The tank exterior is approximately 1676 sf. The work is located at Natural Bridges National Monument headquarters. Natural Bridges is located 35 miles west of Blanding Utah on highway 95 and 4 miles northwest on 275. Period of performance for this contract is 30 calendar days. This solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about June 24, 2009. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Solicitation Number N1349090018. Work will be in accordance with the scope of work, drawings and other attachments. This acquisition is a small business set-aside. NAICS code 238160, with the small business standard of $14.0 M. This is a Best Value procurement and will use a comparative evaluation of proposals based on price, past performance and technical qualifications. Responses from offerors will be accepted at the address listed in the solicitation in hard copy until the due date and time specified in the Solicitation, with the manual signature of the authorized company official.
