- This is a pre-solicitation notice for Buckley AFB, CO to purchase a secure entry card reader system. It is required the system be integrated with a previously installed SafeNet Access Control System. The required service is commercial in nature, therefore, FAR Part 12; Acquisition of Commercial Items shall apply to this acquisition. The service must also, meet the qualifications in accordance with (IAW) all applicable Department of Defense (DoD), Air Force, Air Force Space Command (AFSPC) regulations and policies. North American Industrial Classification System Code 561621 and size standard of $12,500,000.00 applies. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fbo.gov on about 11 June 2009. No paper copies will be issued. The solicitation is subject to FAR 52.232-18 "AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS", and 252.232-7007 "Limitation of Government's Obligations". To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered in the DoD Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Register via the CCR website at http://www.ccr.gov/ or by contacting CCR Customer Service Contact Information at 1-888-227-2423 and all offerors must submit their representations and certifications at the Online Representations and Certifications Applications (ORCA) website at http://orca.bpn.gov. This requirement will be 100 % set-aside for Small Businesses. Additionally, the Government will not reimburse any interested parties for monies spent to provide a response to the subsequent solicitation notice.
