- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. FAR Subpart 13.5 will be used. The solicitation number is N00178-09-R-1041. This acquisition is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The proposed contract action is for 38 Uninterruptible Power Supplies in accordance with the attached specifications. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is issued as a request for proposal. The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCDD) intends to procure thirty-eight uninterruptible power supplies. Specifications are attached to this synopsis. Additionally, interested parties may contact Crystal Breen for a copy of the required specifications. Delivery must be received within 60 days of award. FOB Destination to Virginia Beach applies. This solicitation document and incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars 2005-32, Effective 14 May 2009 & DFARS Change Notice 20090115 dated 15 January 2009. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code associated with this procurement is 334419 and the FSC is 6140. The small business size standard is 500 employees. The Government will award a Firm Fixed-Price contract. Pricing shall be FOB Destination Virginia Beach, VA; ! therefore the proposal must include all applicable shipping charges. The closing date is 15 June 2009 at 1200 noon, Eastern Time. Anticipated Award date is 30 June 2009. All items shall be priced FOB DESTINATION, Virginia Beach, VA.
