- SYNOPSIS/INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE SYNTHESYS SOFTWARE The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command intends to award a contract on an other than full and open competitive bases for brand name Synthesys Software. The anticipated award will be made under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(1), FAR 6.302-1, FAR 6.303, 6.304 and FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commerical Items, to only one responsible source, to Digital Reasoning Systems Inc, Brentwood TN. Digital Reasoning Systems the sole manufacturer that possesses the ability for manufacturing, distributing, and maintenance for this software. The NAICS code for this action is 541519.. This notice of intent is not a request for proposal. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determing whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The time period for the receipt of responses to this notice is 3 days from the date of posting. The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR).
