- Description
- Elmendorf AFB, AK has a requirement for Custodial Services at Elmendorf AFB and potentially Fort Richardson in the second option year. The awarded contract will be a requirements type contract. All work will be funded and issued on delivery orders. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform all the requirements in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). Work consists of, but is not limited to: vacuuming and shampooing carpets; cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, saunas and steam room; stocking restrooms; emptying trash receptacles; dusting; cleaning walls, mirrors, windows, and doors; sweeping, mopping, stripping and waxing floors and other general cleaning requirements. The period of performance is one base year (1 October 2009 though 30 September 2010) plus four option years. The request for proposal number is FA5000-09-R-0030 and can be downloaded at www.fedbizopps.gov on or after 23 June 2009. This action is an 8(a) competitive Set Aside. No corrections and/or changes are allowed after time of submission of proposal. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 561720, with a business size of $16,500,000. This acquisition will be made under FAR Parts 12, 15 and 37. This solicitation will be issued electronically. It will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities web site www.fedbizopps.gov. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. No paper copies will be furnished. Potential offerors should register at www.fedbizopps.gov In order to receive notification and/or changes to the solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to submit their contact information by registering as an interested vendor utilizing the Vendor Notification Service link within the Register to Receive Notification function. No bidder's mailing list will be maintained. Offers will be submitted on the Standard Form 1449 and must include as a minimum the items listed in FAR Clause 52.212-1 (b).
