- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This procurement is being set aside 100% for Small Business. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD)Philadelphia has established a requirement for Ship Clutch Hardware Items which consist of the following: Viton O-Ring P/N 3-904 V0894 (Qty. 48), Viton O-Ring P/N 3-916 V0894 (Qty. 99), Parker Stainless Adapter P/N 16V5X-SS (Qty. 48), Parker Stainless Tee P/N 16R5X-SS (Qty. 48), Parker Stainless Reducer P/N 16-8 TRTXN-SS (Qty. 47), Parker Stainless Reducer P/N 20-12 TRTXV-SS (Qty. 48), Parker Stainless Tee P/N 12-6-8 R5X-SS (Qty. 48), Parker Stainless Reducer P/N 8-4 F5X-SS (Qty. 48). Any additional specifications for the hardware items will be listed with the posting of the solicitation. NSWCCD Philadelphia seeks to competitively award this order. The resultant basic award will be a Simplified Acquisition Procedure (SAP)Purchase Order based upon a 30 day delivery period. The contract will be awarded on a Low Cost Technically Acceptable basis, using policies and procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 332912 with a size standard of 500 employees. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation. Specific details will be provided in the solicitation RFQ N65540-09-T-5209, which will be posted on the World Wide Web at https://www.neco.navy.mil/ (click on Business Opportunities) and http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ (click on Vendors) on or after 24 June 2009.
