- This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for a MACPRO Computer as a Brand Name requirement and is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. The Brand Name J&A has been posted to NECO this date. Quotes are being solicited and a written RFQ is attached to this synopsis. The RFQ number is M67854-09-Q-4147 0001. The RFQ document incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-20. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334111. All interested and responsible small business parties shall refer to the Marine Corps Systems Command website at www.neco.navy.mil http://www.neco.navy.mil in order to obtain a copy of the RFQ. The following provisions and clauses shall apply: (1) FAR 52.212-1 (Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items) (JAN 1999); (2) FAR 52.212-2 (Evaluation - Commercial Items) with the following insertion in para (a) "lowest priced technically a! cceptable quote with acceptable past performance." in the described CLINS of the RFQ; (3) FAR 52.213-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition and there is not an addenda to this provision; (4) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. This RFQ closes for questions on June 11, 2009 at 3:00 PM EST.; no questions will be answered by phone, all questions should be direct to Michelle Bailey at michelle.bailey@usmc.mil. All offers will be submitted on the RFQ form (SF-1449) attached to this synopsis. Vendor's proposals for this requirement are due no later than 10:00 AM EST on June 16, 2009. It is the vendor's responsibility to monitor the NECO system for amendments issued in reference to this requirement. All Contractors who provide goods/services to the DOD must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR). Online C! ertifications and Representations is also required http://orca.bpn.gov http://orca.bpn.gov. Failure to comply with ORCA registration may deem offeror ineligible for award.
