- This proposed procurement is set-aside for Small Businesses, NAICS 237990 with size standard of not to exceed $20,000,000.00. Estimated cost of requirement is between $2,500,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Solicit and award one contract for Dredging project consisting of approximately 750,000 cubic yards of material from sand borrow area southwest of Poplar Island by hydraulic pipeline dredge with placement in the Sarbanes Ecosystem Restoration Project at Poplar Island. The Construction duration of this project will be approximately 150 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge to all registered plan holders. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued as a hard copy. No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted. All questions shall be submitted via e-mail to nina.albritton@usace.army.mil. Bids must be hand carried to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, 10 South Howard Street, Room 7000, ATTN: Nina Albritton, P.O. Box 1715, Baltimore, MD 21203-1715, or mailed to U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Contracting Division, 10 South Howard Street, Room 7000, ATTN: Nina Albritton, P.O. Box 1715, Baltimore, MD 21203-1715. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge to all registered plan holders on or about 23 June 2009, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) system.
