- Description
- The Huntington District Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract for Fabrication of Structural Operating Equipment, to include Miter Gates, for Navigation and Flood Control Projects. Up to two contracts may be awarded from one solicitation for a multiple award delivery order contract. Each contract will be indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type for a not to exceed amount of $25 million dollars. Delivery orders may be for structural operating equipment in any of the seven districts in the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division which includes Buffalo District, Chicago District, Detroit District, Huntington District, Louisville District, Pittsburgh District, and Nashville District. The contract will be awarded for a base period of two and half years with one option period. The award will be made as a whole to the offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and has been determined to be the most advantageous to the Government, all factors considered. All responsive proposals will be evaluated utilizing the following technical factors, in descending order of importance: 1. Fabricator Qualifications; 2. Experience; 3. Past Performance; 4. Resources, with sub-factors of a. Facility Layout; b. Equipment; and c. Capacity. This solicitation will be available for download on or about 23 Jun 2009, online at www.fbo.gov.
