- Sole Source Justification Document The Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Logistics Information Service, Battle Creek, Michigan, J6-B, has a requirement for 12 months of software maintenance service on 2,000 each existing Secure CRT and Secure FX software licenses. This is a notice of intent to place a sole source award with Van Dyke Software, 4848 Tramway Ridge Drive, NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111-2873 (CAGE: 1N4Q9) for subject software maintenance service. Van Dyke Software is the only known technically acceptable source presently capable of providing such software maintenance service. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 6.303, the required sole source justification document is included with the FEDBIZOPS announcement. Any technically acceptable, responsible source is encouraged to reply to this FEDBIZOPS notice. Serial numbers of the affected software licenses will be supplied at the time of contract award. The inspection, acceptance and F.O.B point is at destination, Battle Creek, Michigan. Government inspection and acceptance at destination will be performed by DLIS-TIL personnel. Period of performance is 12 months commencing on the date of contract award. Any prospective offeror who desires to submit a quotation for software maintenance service is required to submit their quotation no later than 11 a.m. Eastern Time, Monday June 15, 2009. Submit your quotation via e-mail to David.Straughn@dla.mil or via facsimile to (269) 961-4474, ATTN: DCSO-B/David Straughn. Quotations received after the above date and time will not be considered for award. There is no technical data package available for review. No telephone calls accepted at any time.
