- This a list of additional information for all vendors: 1. Only one (1) evaluation sample is required at this time in order to demonstrate the ability to satisfy the performance characteristics of this RFI. If a supplier has more than one variant or style of fixture that is believed to meet these characteristics, a sample of each should be submitted. If ancillary components, such as mounting hardware, remote control, etc., is common to more than one fixture, only one sample of such components are necessary. Field evaluation is not part of this sources sought synopsis; but rather a component of efforts to be conducted following procurement of suitable components. 2. Prospective field evaluation locations include sites located in proximity to the following geographic areas: Okinawa, Japan Yuma, Arizona, USA Bogue, North Carolina, USA Sonora Junction, California, USA Twentynine Palms, California, USA Actual field evaluation locations are subject to change, without notice, following commencement of the evaluation period. 3. The NAVAIR EAF supports all aspects of Marine aviation: fixed-wing, rotary-wing, and vertical takeoff/landing. 4. Radio remote control is an essential capability of the desired fixture. 5. All samples shall be received at NAVAIR Lakehurst within 45 days after 29 JUN 09.
