- This notice is provided for informational puposes only. This opportunity is available only to Lowe Engineers, LLC, Atlanta, Ga., Contract No. W91278-05-D-0030. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District, will award a Firm-Fixed Price Task Order against this existing contract which was fully competed and established in accordance with FAR Part 36 on 26 July 2005. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of this task order is to update sediment range surveys for Westpoint Dam and Lake in the states of Georgia and Alabama to increase the reliability of equipment and improve Water Management functions. This will provide more accurate data for flood risk management decision making, and also help to insure water supply and environmental conditions are met. The data collected within this task order shall include both topographical overbank section data and hydrographic section data along pre-established sedimentation ranges.
