Description

The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price Contract to General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. for the procurement of four (4) Mobility Ground Control Stations (MGCS) for CBP's MQ-9 Predator B Unmanned Aircraft Systems. The procurement of these hardware items also consist of the necessary design engineering, program management, procurement, manufacturing research, and test required for the development of this variant Ground Control Station. These engineering efforts, usually referred to as Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE), will be procured under separate Time and Materials line items. The period of performance will be twelve months from date of contract award. This contract will be awarded pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
