- The purpose of this amendment is to address questions posed. Q: Is an 8-port Hub connected to the Internet required (that they in turn will access with their own computer equipment and cables) or has the request for an Internet Cafe been withdrawn entirely? A: We do still require an internet café. However, our only AV requirement is internet connectivity and an 8-port hub in the room. The IRS will provide laptops, cables and a printer for the room. We need the AV provider to supply and service the connectivity and hub only. Q: The equipment specifications note the need for (1) video switcher and (1) VGA switcher. Most professional video switchers have VGA i/o interfaces as well as Video signal i/o interfaces and would thus be able to provide the capabilities required for this project in a single unit. Were there specific reasons for listing the separate video and VGA switchers, or are we allowed to propose using 1 switcher to handle these requirements? A: One unit is fine as long as it has both capabilities. Q: The equipment specifications note the need for (1) Sony D-35 Camera or Equivalent, and later note the need for (1) Camera for IMAG. Does this mean the government is requesting two (2) separate cameras be provided or just one (1)? If just one, should the Sony D-35 specification be the guideline for camera make and model? A: Just one camera is required. The Sony D-35 specification should serve as the guideline. Q: The SOW states the Vendor must supply radios for the IRS on-site events team. How many radios will be required? A: Six radios please.
