Description

Main Gate Security Enhancements - Clear AFS, AK THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE only, for the construction of the Main Gate Security Enhancements on Clear AFS, Alaska. OFFERS OR PROPOSALS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS NOTICE. THIS IS NOT A PRESOLICITATION OR SOLICITATION. The work consists of the Contractor providing all personnel, labor, equipment, supervision and tools necessary to accomplish the following: Construct the main gate security enhancements which include, but not limited to: construct approximately 4,593 SY of new road at the main entry approach to Clear AFS. This roadway will be constructed in a serpentine, roundabout configuration located to the south side of the existing roadway. Approximately 658 LF of existing two lane paved road will be removed following construction of the serpentine. Project includes 290 LF of roundabout curbing, required signage, and roadway paint striping. Electrical work includes fourteen (14) each exterior pole mounted street lights, twelve (12) each with 250 watt HPS fixtures and two (2) each with 400 watt HPS fixtures. Install associated pad mounted transformer, panel board and underground wiring. Contractor shall comply with commercial and industry standards, and all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations and procedures. Estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The intent of this Sources Sought is to research qualified firms with a primary NAICS code of 237310 with size standard of $33.5 million, for a potential acquisition.
