- Description
- This is project is located on the Eldorado National Forest, Placerville and Amador Ranger Districts. The scope of the contract is to demolish and dispose of a total of six structures at four different locations that have tested positive for containing asbestos and/or lead based paint. At Baltic the demolition will include the following: •Remove and properly dispose of the Baltic Residence floor, sub floor and foundation. •Remove and properly dispose of the Baltic Garage Structure and any associated debris within 50 feet of the structure, along with the concrete slab foundation. •Remove and properly dispose of concrete tower footings and any remaining guy wires. •Remove and properly dispose of the Baltic Pump House, foundation and any man made debris within 50 feet of the structure. At Owen’s Camp the demolition will include the following: •Remove and properly dispose of the structure (foundation will stay in place). At Leek Springs the demolition will include the following: •Remove and properly dispose of the structure, its foundation, and concrete steps. At Grizzly the demolition will include the following: •Remove and properly dispose of the structure. Estimated start work date is July 27, 2009. NOTE: THERE WILL BE A PRE-BID MEETING ON MONDAY, JULY 6, 2009, 9:00 A.M. MEET AT THE ELDORADO NATIONAL FOREST SUPERVISOR'S OFFICE, 100 FORNI ROAD, PLACERVILLE, CA., AND ASK FOR KELLY EBERT.
